This symposium was presented November 7, 2007 at UC Davis to describe the current research focused on the unique growth problems specific to the red winegrape variety Syrah. Speakers included UC researchers and Cooperative Extension advisors, USDA-ARS scientists and most importantly researchers from France and South Africa who have conducted investigations with Syrah Decline and Syrah Disease for several years. Presentations were recorded as PowerPoint Broadcasts and can be accessed from the links provided below. Support for the Syrah Vine Health Symposium was provided by the American Vineyard Foundation and the California Competitive Grant Program for Research in Viticulture and Enology.
