| Description |
This UC Davis Extension Course was held June 2, 2009 at Freeborn Hall, UC Davis. The links below contain video presentations in an easy-to-use format. No additional software is required. The recent and rapid spread of grapevine leafroll disease in California has alarmed growers and researchers, who are looking to better understand the potential for an epidemic wave of infection. Originally assumed to be largely graft-transmitted under California conditions, there is new research showing this is not the only method of transmission. Researchers with active programs on leafroll disease and its vectors have been brought from around the world to share their knowledge. An earlier symposium, "Grapevine Leafroll Disease - an Increasing Problem for California Vineyards" was held in June 2008. Presentations may be viewed by clicking on that topic or here.
